RB Tech Advisory

Specialist consultancy

SAP Ariba · AMS · Rollout

Go-live is not the finish line.

RB Tech Advisory is an SAP Ariba specialist consultancy. The focus is AMS for companies already running the platform, along with implementation, rollout and integration with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

The problem

After go-live is when Ariba shows whether it was well delivered

In the months that follow come the ERP integrations failing with no owner, the suppliers not transacting on SAP Business Network and the approvals stuck with nobody sure why. RB Tech's AMS exists to take operations out of that reactive mode.

  • CIG integration monitoring, with error handling and reprocessing

Operations

  • SLAs and a regular follow-up routine
  • Ongoing supplier enablement

Evolution

  • Controlled improvements to the landscape
  • Assessment and selective adoption of Ariba quarterly releases

Multinational group

Full suite rollout and AMS across 15+ countries · Americas and Europe · 2022 to 2023

A program that brought Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying with Guided Buying, Invoicing, Catalogs and SAP Business Network to operations on two continents. Rafael Barbieri, founder of RB Tech, was the lead Ariba consultant. The rollout did not happen in a frozen environment: while new waves went live, the countries already in production needed AMS, each with its own tax rules and supplier base.

  • Suite configuration tailored to each country's requirements
  • S/4HANA integration via CIG
  • Supplier enablement on SAP Business Network at every go-live wave
  • Rollout and AMS in parallel, with production countries kept stable
  • Withholding tax data added to the SLP internal supplier questionnaire

E-commerce and retail

Rollout and AMS

  • End-to-end SLP: supplier request, registration and qualification, with modular questionnaires
  • Sourcing (RFI, RFP and auction) and Contracts with approval workflows
  • Buying and Guided Buying: master data, 3 Bids and Buy, import requisitions and PR/PO types
  • Invoicing, Catalogs, S/4HANA integration via CIG and post go-live AMS

Pulp industry

Brazil and international · Implementation, rollout and AMS

  • Full suite configuration for operations in Brazil and abroad
  • S/4HANA integration via CIG, with unit and integration testing
  • AMS across all modules: incidents, continuous improvement and rollout to new units

Automotive industry

Implementation

  • SLP (supplier registration), Sourcing (RFI, RFP and auction), Contracts, Buying, Invoicing and Catalogs
  • S/4HANA integration via CIG
